GOWN INFORMATION

Each gown will have the following information to help you choose you gown with ease.

  • COLOUR - When a gown is offered in a range of colours for you to choose from, otherwise it is noted as sample

CURRENCY

MARIA CHIODO E-boutique products are all quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and the price includes GST (Australian GST)

DELIVERY INFORMATION

Our business hours are Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.00 pm and any orders received outside these times will be answered and or dispatched if possible the next business day. If we require any further information we will be in contact with you within 24 hours. Delivery times will vary for each item.

READY TO WEAR Collection:

READY TO WEAR GOWNS are made to our specific standard dress sizes (6, 8, 10, 12, 14 & 16) with a waist to floor measurement of 118cm. Please check our measurement chart for measurements.

Please inform us when placing your order of your wedding date, the required delivery date and a contact phone number, so we may be able to contact you to discuss the order further.
A Maria Chiodo team member will attempt to contact you within the following 24 hours and will need to discuss your gown size, fastening options, colour, any extras, the wedding date and a delivery date.
We do not proceed with your gown until we have been in contact with you verbally.
We would also make very clear the gown will take from 4 to 8 weeks to manufacture after you have placed the order.
However if you require your gown in a shorter time frame, please let us know and of course we will do our best to deliver sooner, also keep in mind some gowns have a longer manufacturing timeframe, so If we can’t deliver your gown choice in your time frame, we will suggest other similar styles which are available.
Additional fees may apply for select order specifications. Such specifications include, but are not limited to, plus sizes, extra length, Waist-to-Hem measurements and rush delivery. Differently designed gowns will incur different fees.

If you order a gown and it cannot be delivered within the time frame you have nominated, we will immediately refund you in full, and inform you by email.

ACCESSORIES

  • Stock items can be sent within 48 hours.
  • Some items may need to be ordered and will take a little longer. We will confirm a delivery date to you within 24 hours.
  •  If you order an item and it cannot be delivered within the time frame you have nominated, we will immediately refund you in full, and inform you by email.
  •  If we can’t deliver your choice in your time frame, we will suggest other similar styles which are available.

*Earrings and Headpieces including all accessories cannot be exchanged or refunded due to hygiene reasons unless faulty.
*GST is included on all the prices quoted on our website

ALL Sale items are final and cannot be exchanged or refunded. Please choose carefully. Any sale item will have detailed information of why it is on sale.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

PLEASE NOTE - we do not currently ship outside of Australia.
Shipping Costs - Australia
Small items such as our ‘KEYARO’ Jewellery, VEILS, HEADPEICES, BELTS, shipping is #$AUS15 and sent in an express post bag via Australia Post.
Gowns ordered from the ‘WEDDING GOWNS’ section, shipping is #$AUS80 and is packaged in a box via Australia Post.

DELIVERY TIMES

The Australian postal service only delivers between 9.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. On the completion of your order we will advise you by email approximately 24 to 48 hours prior, to advise a delivery date, when the item is sent we will also email you the tracking number so you can track the parcel via Australia Post: www.auspost.au/track
Please keep in mind these suggested delivery times are simply an estimate and does not take into consideration weekends, public holidays and unforeseen transit delays. Maria Chiodo does not take responsibility for any delays caused by delivery services or destination customs clearance processes.
All deliveries will require a signature upon receipt.
We will not be able to redirect orders once items have been dispatched.

INTERNATIONAL

International shipping rates and times will vary depending on your location. Generally the shipping charges are approximately $AUS260 plus.
Delivery time once the order has been completed and postage has occurred will take 10 – 20 business days.
 
Shipping for international items is added after your order has been placed and you will be emailed with the shipping amount prior to approving your order.
 
Orders shipped internationally can incur duties and taxes. Duties and taxes are determined by the customs agency within the destination country. Although charges are not always incurred, assessment of duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order and the Tax-free threshold, if it exists, for goods imported into the destination country. Payment of any duties and taxes is the responsibility of the recipient, and these fees are collected at the time of delivery. If you are unsure if your country charges import duties and taxes you should contact your local customs office.  All duties and taxes are payable by the customer.
 

PAYMENTS

At this time we only accept – Visa & MasterCard, as well as Direct Debit.
For orders paid via direct debit, you will be emailed the bank details to complete your transaction and we ask if you could please notify us once the payment has been made so we can verify your payment. Once the payment has been approved your order will be posted (this can take up to seven (7) working days).
We also accept Cheque - products will be dispatched when cheque has cleared, this can take up to seven days.
IMPORTANT: At this time for all international orders we require payment via Direct Debit only. For Direct Debit - you will be emailed the bank details to complete your transaction and we ask if you could please notify us once the payment has been made so we can check and verify you payment. Once the payment has been approved your order will be posted (this can take up to (10) ten days).

PAYMENTS AND WEBSITE SECURITY

To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure Maria Chiodo uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This encrypts and protects the data you send to us over the internet. If SSL is enabled then you will see a padlock at the top of your browser and you can click on this to find out information about the SSL digital certificate registration. You will also notice that when you look at the location field (URL) at the top of the browser you will see it begin with 'https:' instead of the normal 'http’: This means that you are in secure mode.
All transactions on this website are processed using a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment. Our digital security certificates ensure that your information is kept private while in transit between your web browser and our web server.

INSURANCE – IS MY PARCEL INSURED

When your parcel is in transit from the Maria Chiodo workrooms to your nominated delivery address, we insure the cost of the items. On delivery to the nominated address and the parcel has been signed for we are no longer responsible for that item. However if the parcel has been tampered with or the package is damaged we ask you don’t sign for it and have the parcel returned back to Maria Chiodo or if you wish to except the parcel, please check the items inside before you sign for the parcel.
